Pickup & secure transport

$399–$1,850+ per pickup

Usually a trip / logistics fee. Driven by distance, number of stops, access, and whether pack-down is needed.

Processing / recycling (priced by weight)

$0.25–$1.50 per lb

Common pricing model for mixed IT equipment. Rate depends on commodity mix, handling needs, and reporting depth.

Data sanitization (wipe) add-on

$5–$20 per drive/device

Depends on media type (HDD/SSD), verification depth, and how failed wipes are handled.

Physical destruction (add-on)

$25–$45 per drive (common) / up to ~$40+ for fine shred

Remarketing can put money back in your budget

ITAD doesn’t have to be a pure expense. When equipment is viable, we can refurbish and remarket it to help offset pickup and processing costs.

Laptops, desktops, monitors, networking gear, and servers can have meaningful resale value depending on age and condition.

Security first, then resale

We sanitize data before any remarketing. Assets that fail wipe verification are diverted to physical destruction or recycling.

What’s typically remarketable?

Most commonly: business laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, networking equipment, and some servers—especially when under ~4 years old and in good condition.

Common pricing models (remarketing)

Many ITAD programs use revenue share for recoverable assets (often around 70/30, with better terms like 80/20 possible for newer equipment; older or harder-to-sell fleets may land closer to 60/40). We’ll call this out in your quote so you can budget net cost accurately.

If you want, include a quick note like “50 Dell laptops, 2022–2023, good condition” and we’ll estimate potential recovery value as part of your quote.
